Mechanic / Electrician (HVAC)

Local housing authority seeks qualified, dependable Maintenance Worker with HVAC and Electrical experience. Qualified applicants must have the ability to:

* Independently install, maintain and repair 110 and 200 VAC systems and components.
* Independently determines when repairs and maintenance of these systems are required.
* Assists lead HVAC mechanic with troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding or replacement of systems or components.
* Independently troubleshoot and make minor repairs to HVAC systems and components as assigned.
* Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and installation of lighting systems, fixtures, fire and security alarm systems and components which may require climbing ladders or stairs and working in confined spaces.
* Moves and transports equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
* Assists in maintenance and repair of HVAC systems by checking temperatures, refrigerant charge, electrical circuits and components.
* Perform installation and repair of natural gas lines under supervision.
* Ability to work a defined schedule and overtime as required.
